5 Thing I Really Like in Sweden

1. I like their transportation system. Like the rest of the city, metros and trains are practically sterile and easy to figure out.

2. Street art. I've also noticed this in London. We need more of this in the States. Not smutty graffitti. Just, some random art in mundane places like an underground station :)

3. These nearly tripped me out... kinda literally. It's their escalators... they're flat. What the hell? Can anyone explain to me the practicality or greater efficiency of this? I think I get it... actually, no I don't...

4. More art. They had this huge exhibit of photography in the middle of the street. Crazy pictures of animals around the world. I loved it. There were so many of them-- took forever to view them all. [this picture was taken around 4pm btw]

5. Pepper-- mortar and pestle style! Seems so ancient. So simple. So cool. Takes extra time. Exta work. Not as efficient. And I liked it :D

Hi Dave. The cloudy Cape Town weather should disappear by January although its not unusual to have light rain on Christmas and such. It has happened before - a wet 25 Dec and my birthday the 26th - deathly hot! I hop it does get better though. My partner and I just got a new apartment opposite the beach in Muizenberg.
